Shark Fin Soup is an alternative/indie rock band based in Boulder, Colorado. Formed in 2013 by schoolmates, the current lineup consists of Michael O'Hearne (Guitar, Sax, Vocals), Aidan Clark (Drums), Guy Margalit (Guitar, Piano, Vocals), and Trevor Aweida (Bass).

The four-piece outfit combines the individual styles of each member, while consistently bringing a different yet united feel to each performance. The resulting palette contains classic rock sounds, thumping funk, and low-fi psychedelia. Currently the band is working on a new album to be released in May 2017, with the lead single "Electric Kool-Aid" scheduled for release in Spring 2017.
