Versa-Style Street Dance Company is a Los Angeles 501(c)(3) non-profit dance ensemble whose artists are described as representing the diversity and complexity of the city, using street dance to empower young people. Alongside touring repertory work and bookable performances, it runs a community class program: Friday-night classes taught by co-founders Miss Funk and Breeze-Lee cover House and other street dance styles at beginner to intermediate level, held from 6:30 to 8:00pm at Mihran K. Studios in Burbank. Classes are deliberately low-cost - free to youth in the VS Next Generation program, $7 for dancers aged 21 and under and $15 for those 22 and over. The organization also stages One Day Dance Intensives, all-day workshops spanning street dance styles, an annual Family Night dance class open to all ages, an education program, the VS Legacy and VS Next Generation youth programs, and a festival.
