Dancing Divas

Dancing Divas, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing troupe based in Zanesville, Ohio, rather than a conventional teaching studio. It exists to give women of all ages the opportunity to perform, and is dedicated to empowering and inspiring women toward personal growth, strength and physical and mental health through dance. The troupe's members currently range in age from 40 to 79 and perform many styles of dance at engagements throughout Ohio; they have twice appeared as special guests of Dance Masters of America at its national conventions in San Antonio, Texas and Washington D.C. The Divas' repertoire spans short numbers to full-length showcase productions, can be themed to an event, and members also speak to groups about the benefits of dance. Their best-known project is the annual Dancing with the Divas fundraiser, now in its thirteenth season; in 2026 they are instead presenting America 250, a music and dance show with local choruses. The artistic director is Trudy Cultice.
