Movement On Main Center For Dance Ltd

Movement on Main Center for Dance is at 531 Main Street in Zanesville, Ohio, and teaches ages 2 and up from beginner to advanced in ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary and pointe, alongside singing and acting classes and adaptive dance for students with special needs. Provision is organized into a toddler and preschool track from 18 months, a Children's program for kindergarten and first grade, Foundations for grades 2 to 6, a Specialty Track from grade 4, an invitation-only Academy that follows the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum and prepares students for pointe work, and a Pre-Professional track. Adult classes are also offered. The studio sponsors a chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. Annual performances include The Nutcracker at Secrest Auditorium over Thanksgiving weekend, a December Winter Concert, winter and spring musicals, a spring ballet, and a themed June recital.
