About this studio
Dance Connection has taught Long Island families since 1989 and now runs studios in Islip and Bay Shore, drawing students from Central Islip, Brentwood, Islip Terrace, East and West Islip, Sayville and Oakdale. Programs are built to grow with the dancer, from Mini Movers for 18-month-olds and Terrific Twos through the First Steps preschool program and Cool Kids Combo to graded classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, acro, pointe and jumps and turns, with boys-only hip hop, an adaptive Building Connections class, adult classes and art classes alongside. Students may dance recreationally or audition for the performance and recital companies, and there is a teacher training program, honors society and Rising Stars track.
