The Broward Center for the Performing Arts kicks off the new season of the award-winning Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS), where more than three million public school students in K-12 have attended curriculum-driven performances aligned with Florida’s B.E.ST standards.

In its 20th anniversary year, Funding Arts Broward (FAB) has announced that it has raised and awarded a record high of $385,450 in grants to sustain and cultivate arts programming in the region.

As the 2022-2023 Dance Season comes to a close, Miami Dance Hub is stepping-up with 'Miami Dances,' a celebration of multi-genre and multi-cultural dance from May 19 through May 21 at the Lehman Theater on Miami Dade North Campus.

Actors' Playhouse, together with presenting sponsor The Children's Trust, will culminate the 13th annual season of Young Talent Big Dreams, the most widespread local youth talent contest in Miami-Dade County history, with final competitions for student performers ages 8-17.

After last year's virtual-only performances, the annual Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler returns to live, in-person events for its 11th year. Celebrating the tenacity and creativity of Florida's dancers and choreographers, it will showcase a curated group of eight works, featuring some of the best the state has to offer.

Funding Arts Broward (FAB!), a non-profit volunteer-based arts organization committed to preserving and cultivating the arts in Broward County, Florida, has announced the recipients of its 2021 grant funding. Grants ranging from $2,500 - $14,500 were awarded to 37 recipient organizations, totaling $300,000.

With the health and safety of our community our top priority, The Broward Center has postponed or cancelled all upcoming performances, activities and events at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Parker Playhouse for the coming weeks due to the impact of COVID-19. They continue to follow the guidance of local and state officials and remain prepared to respond to evolving circumstances. With the large number of cancelled performances at the height of our season, they are working actively with presenting partners and artist management to reschedule performances wherever possible.
