Absolute Ballroom Company

Absolute Ballroom Company has taught social and competitive ballroom dance in Naples, Florida since 2003, operating inside Modern Steps School of Dance at 4117 Tamiami Trail E. Its teaching model is a three-point system of private one-on-one lessons, group classes and practice parties, with the private lesson carrying most of the technical content and the practice party giving students a low-pressure floor on which to use it. The studio states that all of its instructors have at least 13 years of teaching experience. Students range from those preparing a single wedding dance to social dancers and competitors. The repertoire spans rhythm and Latin dances (cha cha, hustle, mambo, East Coast swing, merengue, rumba, salsa), smooth and standard (foxtrot, quickstep, tango, Viennese waltz, waltz), competition dances (bolero, jive, paso doble, samba), nightclub styles including West Coast swing, and country and western dances such as two step. New students may qualify for a free private lesson, group class and practice party.
