Ayala Royal Ballet LLC

Now operating as Ayala Ballet Conservatory, this Miami Beach school renamed itself from Ayala Royal Ballet to reflect a conservatory model of classical ballet education. Training follows the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, which the school describes as combining classical technique with child development, anatomy, musicality, artistry and dancer health, with examinations used to set goals and give feedback rather than to compare students. The Lower School takes children from 18 months to 5 years as an introduction to music and movement; the Upper School covers ages 6 and older with comprehensive classical training; and a Pre-Professional program, entered by invitation or audition, prepares dedicated dancers for advanced study, summer intensives, competitions and professional work. Brickell City Ballet is the invitation-only performing company. The school also offers ballet for adults, private lessons, a summer camp and open house sessions.
