Plano Children's Theatre Announces Free Events and Performances for 'World Theatre Day'

The Plano Children's Theatre has announced their full schedule of free events and performances for a week of 'World Theatre Day,' from March 22nd to March 27th. The events will include a number of instructional workshops, as well as performances.

Jubilee Theatre continues the 2009-2010 season, the company's 29th, with One Mo' Time - An Evening at the Lyric 1926, a rousing musical with music that celebrates Black vaudeville of the 1920s. Jubilee's production is directed by Tyrone King with musical direction by Joe Rogers. The original production of One Mo' Time played for over three years at the Village Gate Off-Broadway in 1979 before it was brought back to acclaim in the 2002 Broadway season.

QUADRANGLE is currently screening at SXSW where it garnered the Short Documentary Jury Prize and the Wholphin Best Short Award. The film also won an Honorable Mention at Sundance Film Festival 2010. The film World Premiered at the Rotterdam Int. Film Festival 2010.
