Native Gardens is a contemporary comedy that dives into the humorous chaos that unfolds when good intentions collide with bad manners among neighbors. The story follows Pablo and Tania, a young couple who move into a new home, only to find themselves in a comedic feud with their long-established neighbors, Virginia and Frank. As landscaping disagreements escalate, the conflicts reveal deeper issues of race, class, and cultural identity, challenging the characters to reconsider what it means to be good neighbors. The production will be directed by an as-yet unnamed director and is set to run from April 17 to May 10, 2026, at Hartford Stage.
