MadLab Theatre and Gallery will present Theatre Roulette 2010 at 8:00, May 6th-May 29th, Thursday though Saturdays at MadLab Theatre and Gallery, 227 N. 3rd St. Columbus. All 12 shows will be presented on the final day of the festival, May 29th beginning at 2 pm.
CATCO/Phoenix Theatre for Children Announce 2010-11 Season, Kicks Off 9/29

For their inaugural season as a combined theatre organization, CATCO and The Phoenix Theatre for Children, in association with Andy Sandberg, will produce a world premiere musical, The Last Smoker in America, Sept. 29-Oct. 24, 2010, providing central Ohio theatre patrons the unique opportunity to be among the first to see this production before it heads to New York.
BACK TO THE GARDEN Returns to the Shadowbox

Shadowbox has now completed rehearsals for the return of its original documentary musical Back to the Garden. Opening night for the show is Sunday, February 7th and the troupe now has just one dress rehearsal remaining before the production is back on its feet.

Cheer on this quirky yet charming cast of characters for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time. Gather your friends and show off your O-R-T-H-O-G-R-A-P-H-I-C abilities! A few lucky audience members will be selected at each performance to join the cast onstage to be a part of the show as a spelling bee contestant.

Well if you have a keen eye on you, you might just notice a very subtle difference this time around: several of the cast members are sporting beaded peace sign necklaces that hadn't previously been a part of their costumes.

Beck Center for the Arts presents the Tony Award-winning hit musical, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, on the Mackey Main Stage, March 26 through April 25, 2010. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. There is no performance on Sunday, April 4. A special adult version of the show will be performed Saturday, April 24 at 11 p.m.

MadLab Theatre and Gallery recently underwent renovations at their new space at 227 North 3rd st. in Columbus. The doors to the news space were officially opened on March 19, 2010. The new property increased the company's available square footage from 2450 to 3750 which allows the Gallery, Theatre house, scene shop and storage space to be housed under one roof.

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and Broadway Across America (BAA) today announced an eight-show, 14-week Broadway season for 2010-11. This is the first full season under the new partnership agreement between the two organizations, and is the first time a Columbus Broadway season has offered two multi-week engagements-Mary Poppins and Jersey Boys.
