Columbus Jazz Musicians to be Inducted Into Lincoln Theatre Walk of Fame

Two Columbus jazz legends will take their place on the Lincoln Theatre Walk of Fame in an induction ceremony on Saturday, July 28, sponsored by the State Auto Insurance Companies. The ceremony is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:45pm, and the program will begin at 7pm.

DeYoung will perform with his five-piece band, guest Broadway vocalists, and and the Columbus Symphony in a unique, symphonic rock experience that combines the impact of a live orchestra with the edge of a rock band, bringing new power and feeling to such classics as "Lady," "Babe," "Come Sail Away," "Mr. Roboto," "Grand Illusion," "Lorelei," "Suite Madame Blue," "Rockin' the Paradise," "Don't Let It End," plus many more including solo works and new music.

Patrons will have the chance to meet Fritz in the Ohio Theatre lobby for photos and autographs. He'll also introduce both films-Dracula's Daughter (1936) and Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)-as they make their Series premiere.
