Columbus Children's Theatre will revive the holiday hit The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!, adapted for the stage by Barbara Robinson from her book, November 29 through December 23, 2012 at the Park Street Theatre, 512 Park Street. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! is an outrageous, memorable, sometimes touching, often hilarious story of how a simple Christmas Pageant can turn into complete mayhem. This production is generously sponsored by Columbus Parent Magazine.
PNC Arts Alive All Access Expands Discounted Ticket Program to Include Ages 13-25

The PNC Arts Alive All Access program launched last year is now expanding its discount ticket program to include young people aged 13-25. Designed to make the arts affordable and accessible, the program offers $5 tickets to a wide variety of performing arts events in Columbus. The program originally included ages 13-18, but the eligible age range has now been expanded to include those up to and including age 25.

The University of Dubuque has invited the Columbus Symphony and the Dubuque Symphony to perform a special concert together to celebrate the grand opening of the University's new state-of-the-art Performing Arts and Campus Center on Saturday, May 11, 2013. The collaboration was initiated by Joe and Linda Chlapaty, Dubuque graduates and Columbus residents who are major supporters of the 80,000 square foot, $30 million facility currently under construction.

The Columbus Symphony, CSO Music Director Jean-Marie Zeitouni, and guest pianist Nareh Arghamanyan will perform the first 2012-13 regular season concert program, Tchaikovsky & Shubert. From the soaring, folk-flavored themes of Tchaikovsky's beloved Piano Concerto No. 1 to Schubert's expansive and exhilarating final symphony, melody reigns supreme in this enthralling program. Winner of the 2008 Montreal International Music Competition, Armenian-born Nareh Arghamanyan is one of the finest pianists of today's promising young generation and will perform the Tchaikovsky work. The program will also include Glinka's Overture to Russlan and Ludmilla.
