Great Lakes Theater Festival (GLTF), Cleveland's classic theater, kicks off the second half of its 2010-11 season with the riotously irreverent, three-actor romp, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Complete Works] by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield. The production will be performed in the company's revolutionary and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare, March 11-27. 2011.

Great Lakes Theater Festival (GLTF) will launch the world premiere of TWICE TOLD TALES OF THE DECAMERON, a free one-hour touring production scheduled to visit twenty-one neighborhood venues throughout northeast Ohio, to kick off the company's 2011 series of Surround outreach programming. The play, adapted from Giovanni Boccaccio's The Decameron by GLTF Director of Education Daniel Hahn, features a touring company of four actors and is directed by Lisa Ortenzi.

Charles Fee, Producing Artistic Director of Great Lakes Theater Festival (GLTF), unveiled an expanded season to commemorate the classic theater company's fiftieth anniversary. The new season, which will include an additional sixth production, is scheduled to run from September 2011 through June 2012 at PlayhouseSquare's Hanna and Ohio Theatres. 'Since our successful move to the Hanna Theatre in 2008, we began to imagine growing to a six-play season,' said GLTF Producing Artistic Director, Charles Fee of the Festival's expanded offerings. 'Our fiftieth anniversary is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our history and point toward our future with this exciting development in our company.'

A haunting American classic, THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL marks the first Cleveland Play House production of a work by Pulitzer Prize- and Academy Award-winner Horton Foote, and the world-premiere performance of this play by an African-American cast. Receiving the blessing of Hallie Foote, daughter of the playwright, this co-production with Round House Theatre is helmed by Timothy Douglas and stars preeminent African-American actress Lizan Mitchell as Carrie Watts.
