Time Warner Cable Becomes Title Sponsor For Smart Seats

PlayhouseSquare announces today that Time Warner Cable has become the new title sponsor for its highly successful Smart SeatsTM program, now officially called "Time Warner Cable Smart SeatsTM". Time Warner Cable is a leading communications provider and will help grow community awareness of Smart Seats and introduce theater and live entertainment to new audiences.
Since 2006, thousands of people have utilized Smart Seats to experience live performances at PlayhouseSquare. Dubbed "Smart Seats" because of the enriching nature of experiencing the performing arts and because the low cost of acquiring this experience is such a smart value, the initiative quickly became a favorite among new and existing PlayhouseSquare guests. Smart Seats encourage patrons to take a chance, see something new, and be enriched by the experience of Broadway shows, dance performances, musical concerts, comedy, children's theater and plays. To date, over 111,000 Smart Seats tickets have been sold and tickets still remain for the current season including West Side Story, Sesame Street Live, Next to Normal and more."PlayhouseSquare is excited to work together with Time Warner Cable and continue the success of Smart Seats," stated Tim Birch, Director of Retail Sales & Sponsorship for PlayhouseSquare.
