After a mysterious benefactor sends her to college to become a writer, Jerusha is required to write him a letter each month. Not knowing her benefactor’s identity, she creates one herself, addressing him as Daddy Long Legs. This rags-to-riches love story explores Jerusha’s journey to becoming an independent and educated woman, as well as the surprising truth about the benefactor she believes she has never met.
