Photos: Melissa Errico Celebrates Valentine's Day at Birdland

This past weekend, TONY-nominated actress and singer Melissa Errico returned to Birdland Jazz Club her fourth annual “Lost in His Arms” Valentine’s residency, once again playing six sold-out shows to packed houses in New York City. Check out photos from the show.

Backed by an A-list quartet — including Andy Ezrin (Chris Botti, Madeleine Peyroux) on piano and longtime Barbra Streisand collaborator Brian Koonin on guitar — Errico delivered a musically rich, emotionally resonant set that critics praised for its vocal brilliance and intimate storytelling. Throughout the three-night run, she transformed classic torch songs into modern reveries — performances that smoldered, sighed, and sparkled. As Interludes noted, the show was “a satisfying and infectious ode to the Great American Songbook, which Errico has emerged as one of the unofficial keepers of, particularly in the world of cabaret.”

Errico will takeover Mamaroneck’s Emelin Theater on March 22nd – in celebration of the late Stephen Sondheim’s birthday – with her acclaimed concert Sondheim in the City, joined by longtime collaborator and pianist Tedd Firth.
