The Voice coach Adam Levine and producing partner Jordan Feldstein have signed an exclusive one-year first-look development deal with NBC Entertainment.
The deal, announced by Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming for NBC Entertainment, calls for Levine and Feldstein to develop both scripted and alternative programming for the network. "It would be impossible to quantify Adam's influence and importance to the success of 'The Voice,'" said Telegdy. "Given those enormous contributions, we're very anxious to work with him and Jordan to see what future shows they develop that can find a home here at NBC." Levine is now in his fourth season as a coach for NBC's musical competition series "The Voice." He is also the lead singer for supergroup Maroon 5, which has sold more than 17 million albums. The group's third single, "Daylight," from its "Overexposed" album, recently claimed the #1 spot on both Top 40 and Hot AC radio charts. In the process, the band set a record for the most #1's (six in total) by a group in the Top 40 chart's 20-year history.
