RLTP Begins the New Year with Magic and Mystery

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce its second production of its 2018/19 season in its new home at 456 Main Street!  The 2018/19 season will continue with Tony Kushner's The Illusion starring Dave Hayes, Lisa Vitrano, Patrick Cameron, Cassie Cameron, Rolando Gomez, David Marciniak, Sara Kow-Falcone and Ray Boucher. The production team includes Lynne Koscielniak (set design), John Rickus (light design), Jenna Damberger (costume design), Emily Powrie (props), Katie Menke (sound design) and Adam Rath (fight choreography).

RLTP Announces 2019 Regional Playwright Resident

Road Less Traveled Productions' (RLTP) 2019 Regional Playwright Residency has been awarded to Derek Roland for development of his work Waist Deep. The residency will begin January 1st and culminate in a staged reading of his work at the end of 2019. As Regional Playwright Resident, Mr. Roland will have opportunities to work with actors, directors, and designers to develop his work in progress in consultation with the RLTP Literary Department. 
RLTP Announces Commission Of Adaptation Of Literary Classic With Local Playwright

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) continues to expand its commitment to the development of new works by local playwrights with the commission of a new adaptation of Herman Melville's Moby Dick by playwright Neil Wechsler. RLTP previously produced the world-premiere of Mr. Wechsler's play, Grenadine, winner of the 2008 Yale Drama Award as selected by Edward Albee. Other adaptations by Wechsler include Ibsen's Emperor and Galilean and The Faust Project (an adaptation of both parts of Goethe's Faust, in collaboration with composer Nathan Heidelberger). 
KeyBank Rochester Fringe Expands Again In 2019

Organizers of the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival announce that the 2019 Fringe will open on Tuesday, September 10 and run through Saturday, September 21. This extends the annual multi-arts festival to 12 days, following 2018's extension from 10 to 11 days.

ART/WNY Presents MEET ME IN ST LOUIS

American Repertory Theater will be presenting the classic Americana story MEET ME IN ST LOUIS in a radio-play/ song & dance format set in the 1940's. Showdates are December 14th & 15th, 21st & 22nd with all showtimes at 8 pm. There will be one Saturday matinee on December 15th at 4 pm. All shows will be performed at the company's new how at 545 Elmwood Avenue, in the heart of Buffalo's Elmwood strip. Prices are $20 General Admission and $15 for students and members of the WNY arts community.
