MusicalFare Presents The Premiere Regional Production Of RAGTIME

MusicalFare Theatre, Western New York's most awarded and only professional musical theatre company, presents the 3rd production of its 2018-2019 Season, the Premiere Regional Production of RAGTIME.

Written by the award-winning team of Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, SEUSSICAL,) and noted playwright Terrence McNally, and based on E.L. Doctorow's distinguished novel, RAGTIME was the winner of the 1998 Tony Awards for Best Score and Book and both the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical and Best Score. Called by TIME Magazine "a triumph for the stage," this acclaimed musical is filled with pageantry, emotion and hope, bursting onto the stage like no other.

The MusicalFare cast includes Kyle Baran, Noah Bielecki, Brian Brown, George L. Brown, Taylor Carlson, Charmagne Chi, Adam Eckmair, Bennett Goldberg, Jake Hayes, Stevie Jackson, Dominique Kempf, Jon May, Ricky Needham, Lorenzo Shawn Parnell, Marc Sacco, Chrissy Vogric-Hunnell, Michael Wachowiak and Alexandria Watts.

Set, Lighting & Sound Design is by Chris Cavanagh, Costume Design is by Kari Drozd and Hair, Wig and Makeup Design is by Susan Drozd.

The performance schedule is February 13th - March 17th, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00pm, Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 3:30pm and 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. There will be a special "half-price preview" on Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesday performances EXCEPT opening night, February 13th.

MusicalFare Theatre is a professional musical theatre company in residence at, but independently operated from, Daemen College. MusicalFare Theatre is located at 4380 Main Street in Amherst, NY (between Harlem and Getzville Roads). Parking is FREE, and the theatre is handicapped accessible.
