Olivier Award winner, West End and Broadway star, and director of the Huntington's Merrily We Roll Along, Maria Friedman brings her critically acclaimed solo show Lenny & Steve: The Music of Bernstein & Sondheim to the Huntington for a one-night only concert event on Monday, September 18 at 7:30pm, accompanied by her longtime collaborator, musical director and pianist Jason Carr. This special cabaret will take place at the Avenue of the Arts / Huntington Avenue Theatre. Tickets are now on sale and start at $25.

Huntington Production Center Opens with Ribbon Cutting 8/10

The Huntington Theatre Company will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Huntington Production Center in Everett, MA on Thursday, August 10 at 12:30pm located at 46 Garden Street. The Huntington's former production facility, located at 252-258 Huntington Avenue and previously owned by Boston University, will become the site of a new building developed by QMG Huntington LLC who purchased the lot in May 2016.

Diamond, hosted by the Williamstown Theatre Festival on Tuesday, August 1 at 5 pm. Van Ginhoven will direct this reading. Tickets are free but reservations are recommended. The reading will take place at the Clark Art Institute.

Shakespeare & Company Receives Berkshire United Way Grant for Shakespeare in the Courts

Shakespeare & Company recently announced it is the recipient of a $15,000 grant from Berkshire United Way to support its Shakespeare in the Courts program. Through this program adjudicated juvenile offenders in Pittsfield work with Shakespeare & Company Education Artists for six weeks exploring Shakespeare's text while preparing their own fully produced Shakespeare production.
