Franklin School of Performing Arts To Hold Open House for Little Music School 8/18
Little Music School, an innovative music program at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), will hold an Open House and Orientation Workshop on August 18, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at FSPA, 38 Main Street, Franklin. The Little Music School method teaches children as young as eighteen months to play the piano. The concept of the program is that every child is born with intrinsic musical abilities and the sooner we cultivate those natural tendencies, the better.
Little Music School classes are taught in a cheerful and colorful environment where students have fun listening, singing and dancing, moving rhythmically, and exploring sounds and music with several musical instruments, including the piano. Children who participate in the Little Music School program are invited to perform in bi-annual recitals. Join us to see what the fun is all about on August 18th!
The Open House is free and open to the public. Those unable to attend the Open House can contact Kim Rezendes, Program Director, for more information at (508) 528-8668 or krezendes@fspaonline.com
