After an extensive search that included over 100 applicants, the Morrison Center hired Jim Edwards as Outreach Coordinator. In this position, he will develop and maintain the Center's outreach and education related programs, including the longstanding summer performance camps, select family programs and masterclasses with visiting artists. In addition, he will secure local sponsorships and granting opportunities, facilitate venue tours, develop an internship program, and provide the community with access and opportunity, especially those in need, through the Center's ticket outreach program. As Idaho's premier performing arts center, these components are important to the growth of the Center and a valuable resource for the community.
Edwards brings with him over twenty-five years of executive experience in advertising Broadway shows in New York City. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Wilkes College and a M.A. in Communication from Ohio University.
"We are excited to have Jim as part of the Morrison Center team," says Virginia Treat, Events and Marketing Manager. "He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his past endeavors and is dedicated to the mission and core values of the Center."
