This is so random?? And so cool?! I wouldn't be able to have seen it anyway, but I thought Megan would be great. Sutton will be terrific once again.

VERY disappointing. I’ve been playing “Swap the date” with these tickets for a while now. I’ll still see it but I was really looking forward to Megan.

Posted: 5/13/21 at 5:20pmWell, this is disappointing. I was looking forward to hearing Mullally on a cast recording (assuming one would have been made). However, I did see Sutton Foster as Reno in the 2011 revival, and, to this day, her performance is one of my all time performances I have seen on a Broadway stage.

Urgh. This is the second time I’ve tried to see her in a show that she has dropped out from 
. I think she would have been really great in the role. Not Sutton’s dancing of course, but still.

Now I wonder why... Was Mulally not able to pull of the material to Marshalls requirements? Was it another incident of not liking her costar? Either way, Sutton Foster will have a jam packed fall. Eta: looks like Mulally has a foot injury... Must be a pretty extensive injury to have to exit out of the show this far out.

Wow! A gut punch and a thrill! Was really looking forward to Megan - LOVE HER. But I, of course, missed Sutton in 2011 and never in a million years thought I would see her in this, wowow!

^If so, she probably did the commercial before she injured her foot.
I guess this doesn't matter to me either way, since I wasn't planning to be in London for this - but if I had, I'd definitely be disappointed. Like someone else said above, I'd rather see someone new take on the role, and Mullaly seemed like an unconventional choice - in a good way. But given this is a London audience, and Foster never performed the role in London, I'm sure they won't be disappointed.

Megan was on The View about a month ago where she basically dodged the question of doing ANYTHING GOES. I was assuming she 1.) wasn't doing it anymore and/or 2.) the production was getting cancelled.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Although I won't be in the UK or have the chance to see the show, I'm curious to hear if there will be major changes to the racially insensitive stereotypes of Asian people...
Also, just noticed it's Kathleen Marshall directing and choreographing. That's nice! Wonder if it'll be similar staging or not. Sutton has still got the moves a decade later, I'm sure.
