Three have signed! And with a goal of 100, he'll be cancelled in no time.
Look, no one thinks what he does is ok....but no petition is going to make a difference.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I'm not inclined to look at it because it is clearly an exercise in ignorance but what exactly is the putative mechanism for bringing this about? Naiveté thy name is Troy.
“It's time to cancel Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster too.”
Yes, finally, someone is willing to cancel the only two people in this industry who have ever worked with the man. Don’t go after the actual big wigs, go after two cogs in the wheel who are doing only what they know and how they know to do it.

Lol still only 3 signatures. I hope the person who started it has been clicking refresh for 12 straight hours waiting for that number to go to 4, signifying the end of Scott Rudin.
I haven't posted on the boards in over a year (mental health reasons), but just popping in here to say that change.org petitions are probably the least likely/most pointless way to make real change in the world. They are for nothing more than simply ploys for online attention.
Update: My profile tells me it has, in fact, been just two days shy of a year since my last post. Oh well, close enough 😂

I still have not looked at the link but do you have an estimate of how many of the 7 might be troy's alter ego? Also, and speaking of Troy, do we think that it would have any effect on Rudin's behavior if Brad Pitt (in full Achilles drag) became the head of HR at Scott Rudin Productions?
Still at 7, people -- I'll bet there's an announcement before the end of the day that SR has left show business and has entered a Buddhist monastery in Armenia.
Troy, Im really sorry at the disgusting things being said on this thread. Im truly sorry. But, these petitions do nothing and never have. I think that is why you are getting so much guff.
