It is hard to give up the source... But I will say, the two commercial producers attached for enhancement to the production are a Nelle Nugent and Ron Simons.
The Public tends to keep the commercial producers pretty quiet.
However I know from The Public, also, the agents repping the parties.
So the lauded production of The Publics For Colored Girls is releasing their director Leah Gardner.
After many reports fights among cast members, creative team members including Martha and Camille the commercial producers have chosen to not broadcast bring Leah Gardiner to broadway.
My question here is .... what theatre could they possibly be going into?
Also, how can they just fire the director?

I can not agree with you more! When i saw the show opening night, had I not been in the middle of the row I would have walked out. Adding this show to the 4th show in my theatre going life, to have left in the middle.
Every single social,racial issue you can think of tosses in just for impact. In fact I was sitting through the show thinking well, certainly the critics are going to kill this show.
Actually I kept this though until the last seven minutes of the show w
People sell out all the time. Black or not, the show is wrong. Being Black In America is an understanding. There is a history and understanding. Not all "get it" much like Jeremy. Setting Black in America back! WAY BACK!
Name the other active black producers on Broadway?
Having a black director and writer means nothing about the content.
