May you tell me where you obtained this one? And how I might get a copy? (I assume it was a marketing event, but wondering if they sell them for the public).

They were passing them out to people around Times Square on Saturday. So excited for this, my cousin worked on the show in a major capacity and I have heard nothing but great things.

The Shuberts should name The Broadhurst The Fosse/Verdon. The Broadhurst name has zero historical value. But after thirty years they still haven't named The Majestic for the man who has but more asses in Shubert seats than anyone else in Broadway history. They might have someone who makes copies up in the office they deem more worthy as they did The Royale and The Plymouth.

She is nailing it.

So it said Washington D.C.at 8 minutes left. Did he die in D.C.? I thought it was New York.

Edit- It was D.C. Just pulled up the book and looked!

My God, Williams is astonishing.

Williams is fantastic but this is tremendous yawn and interrupted too often for too many commercials. If I didn't already know something about Fosse and Verdon, I wouldn't know anything meaningful about them from the show. It all seems so superficial.

Michelle Williams can do anything.

I didn’t find it boring at all. I thought the episode flew by.
Buzz is currently very strong on Twitter, and it’s trending nationwide.

This is a major achievement for Michelle Williams. Just stunning. Also, the new trailer at the end looked promising.

It’s so rare when an actor can 100% just transform into someone else, but that’s exactly what Williams does here.

I was expecting a more refreshing script and concept. I think All That Jazz accomplished the same thing with better results. Williams is very good I will admit. I thought the bald cap they used for Fosse did not look realistic and it was distracting.

I thought it was wonderful, though Paul Reiser is A C T I N G, while everyone else is {shoulder shrug} acting.

This is exactly what I was thinking the entire time! It’s remarkable how much she even truly sounds like Verdon, and not once does it appear that she’s imitating her.

She carrries it! I heard she only gets better and better each episode...she's already nailing it!

Watching Fosse/Verdon is like reading a book for the first time where I know all of the characters, I get all of the references, and - spoiler alert! - I know how it ends.

I was living in DC when Fosse died and I saw Donna McKechnie three days later in Sweet Charity.  Earlier that year I'd seen the Cabaret revival at the Kennedy Center and many years before that I saw Dancin'. Yet, Bob Fosse to me was still the guy who'd made Liza an Oscar winner and All That Jazz the best edited musical of all time.

For now I'm along for the journey but I worry that my detailed, borderline obsessive, knowledge of Fosse's film oeuvre and legendary choreography is going to be disappointed by the storytelling.

"Buzz is currently very strong on Twitter, and it’s trending nationwide."

No, it's in your trends, there is a difference. Everyone knows this is not going to be a ratings smash, and that this will reach a very specific, small audience. But, this does not need good ratings or great reviews to keep going, it's only eight episodes.

Sam Rockwell is far too handsome to play Fosse.

The amount of promotion FX has done for this show is staggering, though. They clearly are trying very, very hard to get the mainstream to tune in.

The first episode was good, if a bit slow. I’m optimistic on the rest of the series, though I’m not sure if people that aren’t familiar with the subject matter will stick around.

I’m going to echo the statements from most above - Michelle Williams is walking away with this thing so far. She has always been my favorite actress and as far as I’m concerned, she should have won every damn Oscar she’s been nominated for (but especially for Blue Valentine, which is one of my favorite film performances of all time) and it’s shocking she has never won before. I also thought her performance in Blackbird was one of the most emotionally draining, beautiful performances I’ve ever seen on stage. She was robbed of that Tony. I am just so damn happy she’s getting the love she deserves.

Besides The Queen, the filming of the musical numbers is great and the costumes are amazing. Excited to see where it goes, the preview for the rest of the season was incredibly promising.

Michelles performance in Blackbird was absolutely outstanding. She deserved that Tony as the poster above said. Yes, she was even great in Cabaret. Cant wait to watch this today

I thought it was pretty spectacular and Williams is breathtaking as Gwen! I think we start to see more of an introduction to their beginning next week.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I loved it. Well acted , directed and filmed. One little detail was not true. A man did not play the gorilla in the Cabaret number. It was done beautifully in the film by the late Louise Quick. I am surprised they overlooked that. Not that viewers would care. I thought Williams and Rockwell were perfect in their roles.
