'Well, Whoopi thank you but your VIEW watchers are not the audience for this show and you could not save SB and HOH is heading in the same direction and will close soon and Summer is losing week after week."
So why bother, right? I guess in your world the glass isn't either half full or half empty, it's just empty.
Well, I'll assume he won't be shoplifting the soundtrack anytime soon.

Saw the show on the 4th of July matinee, no evening show scheduled. Walked out of the box office after picking up tickets to see a white SUV coming into the alley. It was Parsons. There were three, I repeat 3 people standing there waiting for him, one was a pro (you know what I mean, has the bag full of 8 x 10's) the other two were together and had the show's windowcard. The couple were ultra polite, "Excuse me Mr.Parsons.... Parsons walked straight to the stage door passing the three and ignore

Why should she sign something at the stage door while she can get $80 for at a Comic Con, which every major city has.

Wait, didn't all these bodies strewn about going up the aisles actually have to go down the aisle first? Who goes down steps and not pay attention to whether they are shallow or not?

Always love when some anonymous theater queen deems a show dead after the FIRST out of town preview.
I met him twice at two different stage doors. He signed "The Lion King" and "The Producers" DVDs and was nothing less than cordial. Both very pleasant experiences and I'm still standing.
" Seriously? Jenifer was not a D list actor then, now or even years before. Take a gander at her film and TV credits, she's done everything. People may not know her name, but they know her face. D list? Smh "
Here is Jennifer herself with Josh Gad talking about her career.
' But I can't help but laugh a little that people are using ticketsales and album downloads as a measure of quality. I mean, sales of FiftyShades of Grey were through the roof - that hardly means it's actually a good book."
You're right, some here would consider " Merrily We Roll Along" an artistic success where the public deemed the whopping sixteen performance flop a colossal piece of crap dismissing it and the millions it never made.<
When it was a movie theater, the entrance was on 42nd Street. Ever since the new theater opened the main entrance has always been 43rd Street where the box office is. There is a small entrance/exit on 42nd.
Saw "RENT" Tony day. Lines waiting for lottery, standing room and cancellations, late morning, a bus pulls up and the entire cast comes out in full costume to cheers and is whisked to the Tony rehearsal. Then back, they do the matinee, and then over to the Tonys. Long day but the show was electric and how many days does a performer have a day like that?
The press makes a big deal out of the ratings while the network doesn't because when "The Sound Of Music" was broadcast, it was billed as a one night only live event. Then it was repeated, then the DVD was issued. Now audiences know fully well that there are options. The network knows a certain amount will watch it live, while more will DVR it, On Demand it, and buy the DVD. At the end of the day, all that is added in.
