Since Ramin has his show in London in January, does anyone know when he is leaving Anastasia or when his final show will be? Any thoughts on replacements?

I'm of the "Oh dear god please no" camp on that one... But also he is scheduled to do some sort of concert series/show in London in January 2018, so I don't think he'll be moving next door.

I'm a fan of Mr. Karimloo, but I've never really thought he was right for Phantom; he's simply far too physically attractive and even the makeup and mask can't hide it.

Ramin will never play the Phantom again, he said in a livestream that he doesn't think it will get any better than the 25th in London. I'm sure he was given very generous offers for the 30th in London, 25th on Broadway, Paris, etc.
As much as I hate his Phantom, ANYONE is better than the current abomination. I really wish he would do it (Adelphi story aside)
Isn’t the whole point that Christine doesn’t choose Erik at the end is not because he’s ‘unattractive’ but because he’s extremely aggressive, violent, manipulative, abusive etc. Not to mention a murderer. “This haunted face holds no horror for me now. It’s in your soul that the true distortion lies.” I don’t think the physical attractiveness of the Phantom matters that much.
Ramin was replaced by an understudy tonight - how soon is he leaving?
Even stranger, there was no slip of paper saying that his role would not be played by him! I've never heard of such a thing happening , the only explanation I could think of was that it was an extremely last minute change so there wasn't time to put the papers in the playbills? But then they could have announce it preshow... I was disappointed and confused. The understudy (Constantine) did a great job but I was looking forward to seeing Ramin before he left.
According to his Instagram Ramin was out tonight, because of a delayed/cancelled flight. So he isn’t gone just yet.

"Anastasia" really doesn't need RK. The advance is still huge and the girl tweens are enthralled. That being said, a "name" might help sell more tickets.
Now, imo, while it has some truly lovely songs and a nice score, the cast is fine, CA and MBP do their job, Act 1 is so long! It doesn't really shine until Act 2 with the quartet and "Paris". Caroline O'Connor and John Bolton really save that show a lot. The problem is the book.
I wish RK well, he's a fine singer and actor; I'm sure he won't be hurting for work.
I adore Ramin in this show, but I'm also excited to have another Gleb. There's a lot of people who would work: Lucas Steele, Zachary Levi, Santino Fontana, Bryan Terell Clark, etc. I wonder when the announcement'll be made.
Wonder if Manoel Felciano, who originated the role in Hartford, might take over. Seriously doubt it as they took the character in another direction for Broadway.
I wonder what Ramin has lined up...hopefully he's not going into 30th anniversary Phantom, because enough already. I really would love to see him originate more parts.
