Saw Ben a few nights ago! What a voice! His MOTN was gorgeous- the second I heard his voice in the dressing room, I thought "oh man, this is gonna be good!" He has kind of a JOJ vibe to him, vocally, which I love. He also did the pseudo accent in PONR really well, which I really liked. The man can sing, so I am thrilled they upgraded from their last long term Phantom. I enjoyed it MUCH more than Barbour, and a friend I brought with me agreed that this is a major step
Anybody going to see Ben Crawford in Phantom tonight? Apr 18

I have tickets for next week! Very excited to see him- I’m trying to go in with basically a blank slate. I think I did see him in Charlie, but I blocked most of that show from my memory.

No, there are no fees.
I’m curious, does anyone think that when you pick up your tickets has any effect on where the seats are? They say you can pick the. Up any time on the day of the show, so if I show up righ when the box office opens do you think I will get better seats?

I believe Ramin has said he’s done with the role. If it does come, I’d hope they get someone else. I’m sick of the rabid Rierra fanaticism.

Uh, if this happened I would be floored. Phantom isn't at the level of Wicked or Lion King in terms of gross of potential, but it stil

I am not a fan in the least of the show, but I’d be vaguely interested to see what they reworked from the Australian production, having seen the London version live and the DVD. But I’m close enough to the city that I’d have to travel far to catch the tour, so the only way I would get to see it is if it comes here. Hopefully with a lotto...
I’m not sure if it coming would be a mark of it’s success or just a sign that ALW will never let LND die. I don’t know the numbers of other produc

If you've never seen Phantom, this is a good time to do so. They're in between "announced" leads right now (Peter Joback is gone and Ben Crawford hasn't started yet), so you'll very likely get Laird Mackintosh in the title roleand he is superb (very much in the Michael Crawford vein). If for some reason he's out

Im vaguely surprised Sweden is doing another production so soon, didn’t they just have the replica on in Stockholm recently? I admittedly don’t know much about the theater culture there or how often productions tend to run or return there.
I’ve only seen the new tour live as far as non replicas go, but I’ve always found myself disappointed when I see the new designs.
Sure, there are always interesting things that are changed, but Maria Björnson essentially designed a perfect

The last few days, when I've attempted to enter the Phantom lottery (between 7-9 AM), it's said that tickets were not available. Does this happen when performances are mostly sold out? Do they sell the seats normally reserved for lottery seats in these situations?"
That usually happens around busy times of the year. It’s still spr

So, I'm going to the city next thursday with 5 friends, and we're hoping to see the matinee of phantom. We don't want to shell out the cash to pay in advance. Would it be better to rush (we can get to the city as early as about 11), or hope we can get a good deal at tkts?

Front Mezz is my favorite view of this show, and I've also seen it more than most people would consider sane. Front mezz isn't bird's eye at all
Mister Matt said: "I assumed that the line "I stole to your side, tormented by my choice"was in reference to leaving with Raoul in the final lair, and then after said moonlessnight thatthey discuss, the Phantom left and at some point faked his death?
I don't think that's what the line means. It sounds like she was tormented leaving Raoul just before they're wed to return to the Phantom."
Hannah Epperson said: "Forgive me if you guys have already discussed this--was anyone else thrown by the changes to the lyrics in Beneath a Moonless Sky? In the London version the Phantom says Christine found him "in that time when the world thought me dead." But in the Australia version, Christine thought he was dead, too, and it's never quite specified WHEN she sought out the Phantom. She does day she was "tormented by [her] choice," but she had already chos
