I've been to the show a few times and never had trouble winning the lotto, but the toughest time was a Monday just after the Tony's. There is a very limited number of shows that run on Mondays, so I beli

Haha I saw that they just started doing that today after I posted about how great it is that LC does it. It's a much more useful number I think, so I'm happy all locations are doing it now.

If you have the app and look up the Lincoln Ceneter location, that office now displays the prices of the tickets, along with the discount. Makes it much easier for budgeting and eliminates the suspense of “50% off of what?”

I rushed last Saturday just after 12 and got Front mezz seats for the matinee. The front and rear mezz were very sparse, so even with it closing soon, I think your chances are good. There isn’t Great Comet level enthusiasm for the closing performances.

Wow, this looks really great. Not sold on red death but man am I a sucker for blonde Christine. I’m not always sold on the non replica productions but I’m excited to see more from this one

Honorable mentions go to Hugh Panaro, John Cudia, Jeremy Stolle, and Laird Mackintosh.

I saw it today. I’d never seen the show so I don’t know how he is compared to Joshua Henry, but he had a great voice (I’m not overly fond of billy as a character tho)
I think it might have been a surprise. When I got my rush ticket at noon, the “At This Performance” board didn’t have anything indicating there would be an understudy Billy- as I was buying my ticket, the woman at the box office got some notification and said “Oh! And Josh Henry is out too.”

Can’t remember about men’s T-shirt’s but yes they do have logo magnets
Some of the music in the Yeston/Kopit version is beautiful, "You Are Music" and "Home" being particular favorites of mine. I'm a particular phan of the ALW version, but I did see a spectacular production of Phantom in South Korea. PotO will always be my favorite, but I thoroughly enjoy Phantom.
As far as stories go, I've found that, while Phantom delves more into the humanity and 'backstory' of Er
I didn't know I needed this news so badly until I read the headline and my heart soared. Was just looking into tickets, now I'm definitely holding off until Benanti is in
I honestly don't think Phantom does standing room anymore? The show very rarely sells out nowadays, so I'd be surprised if they did. You can go to the box office and ask if they have any box seats, which are about $45. Sometimes, if they don't do the lotto, you can get the far sides of the front rows for $40 something as well.
Otherwise, it's about $80-$90 at the TKTS for pretty great seats.
Depends on the show. I did it for OOTI and there was a bar to lean on. The show was only 90 min so I just had to bend my knees every so often and shift a tiny bit. Didn't bother me at all.
As someone who has what many would consider a ridiculous obsession with Phantom of the Opera, I hear you. I'm in the "let people love what they love" camp.
When you find the show (or movie, band, song, piece of art, etc) that speaks to you, it is magical. My love of theater and Phantom in particular has led me in a lot of cool paths and to a lot of great people. We love what we love. I've had a lot of judgement, but I've also
The price is a little frustrating, but we ended up in row D or E I think, and those tickets normally are $170 ($180 with fees if you buy online). So only paying $60 for them felt pretty decent, especially since I really do love the show.
I've never had a problem getting one when ordering a soda or water, since the alcoholic drinks are expensiiiive. At Frozen they even sold me just the cup since I didn't want a drink.
