As the world premiere comedy musical Tootsie prepares to open tonight at the Marquis Theatre, we're flashing back through the photo archives of BroadwayWorld's very own Walter McBride to bring you some shots from the 1982 film shoot.

Manhattan Theatre Club (Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and Executive Producer Barry Grove) presents the American premiere of INK, written by Olivier Award winner James Graham (Labour of Love, Privacy, Finding Neverland) and directed by two-time Olivier Award winner, Tony and BAFTA Award nominee Almeida Theatre Artistic Director Rupert Goold (King Charles III). INK is now in previews and will open on Wednesday, April 24 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Hadestown officially opened on Broadway on April 17. As per Broadway tradition, the Legacy Robe was awarded to the ensemble member with the most Broadway credits, in this case, T. Oliver Reid!

Supermodel and actress Christie Brinkley has returned to Broadway's Chicago as 'Roxie Hart' for four weeks only! Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune will begin previews on Saturday, May 4, 2019 and open officially on Thursday, May 30, 2019. The strictly limited 16-week engagement concludes on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical, based on the 2001 Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture by Baz Luhrmann, will begin performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on June 28, 2019 ahead of a July 25 opening night.
