Philadelphia Ballet's Holiday Staple The Nutcracker Returns to the Academy of Music in Center City Through New Year's Eve.

After successful engagements in previous seasons, the Philadelphia Ballet brings back audience favorites in Carmen and Bolero to open the 2025-26 season. Running this weekend only, both ballets follow the tradition of rich music, with stunning costumes, and  perfection by a corps of dancers who execute Artistic Director Angel Corella's staging with the necessary grace and power.

The Philadelphia Ballet always shines, but there is a certain sweet spot when Artistic Director Angel Corella has a chance to interpret Tchaikovsky works originally staged by choreographer Marius Petipa.

Hoffman's Red Rose Farm the Villanova suburb of Philadelphia, the intimate, outdoor setting showcased three pieces by the ballet and two by the Philadelphia Ballet School's students along with a VIP reception and followed by a dinner.
