Meet Josh Strobl: it might not be a name you recognize now, but don't be surprised when you see it lighting up a marquee on Broadway in the next few years. That's not only because he is crazy talented and currently a student at University of Michigan (which can claim Pasek & Paul, Gavin Creel, and Darren Criss as alumni), but he was also the winner of the 2016 Best Performance by an Actor Jimmy Award.

'Merely Marvelous: The Dancing Genius of Gwen Verdon' is an upcoming documentary film about the life and career of the greatest triple-threat in Broadway history, actor/singer/dancer Gwen Verdon. 

Broadway Producer David Richenthal admitted in a settlement with the office of the New York State Attorney General to using the family's charity assets to pay for personal expenses, including travel. In total, he confessed to stealing up to $500,000. Additionally, he made a large grant using his family's foundation funds as a settlement with a former romantic partner. 

In case you missed it, Theatre Under The Stars is holding auditions in North Hollywood, CA for their Houston, TX production of The Wiz today, May 17. Two weeks ago, BroadwayWorld posted the casting call to keep you updated and informed about auditions. The casting call looks pretty normal at first glance. Just last night, Seth Meyers brought Jesus Christ Superstar to life in 'Popsicle Schticks'. The parody starts off with a quick nod to the iconic song 'Superstar,' then moves on to 'What's The Buzz?'. However, the lyrics sound a little more like this: 'What's the schtick? Tell me, what's a popsicle?' and 'Why should you want a schtick? Don't you mind about the popsicle.'

Famed LGBT activist is officially making money off of her long-time feud with the current president of the United States. O'Donnell's first collection has already sold out on her Etsy page, ROSIEOart. The collection consisted of a dozen 5x7 inch aluminum printed art pieces that are each signed and numbered. The pieces themselves depict 'Trumpy' alongside several descriptors, such as 'CHEAT', 'CON MAN', and 'LIAR'.
