Though she may be better known as the princess of the adored musical Anastasia, Christy Altomare recently took the stage at 54 Below's Broadway Princess Party to sing a different princess number.

In 2013, Yuu Shirota met Ramin Karimloo through the concert series 'Four Stars: One World of Broadway Musicals'. And now, five years later, the two are going to be dueting on Shirota's upcoming album. On October 24th, Shirota will release his first musical-themed album: a project titled 'A Singer', featuring a duet with Ramin.

On Tuesday night, England faced off with Columbia in the world cup, the game dramatically ending in a penalty shoot-out. However, according to the BBC, two Nottingham theatergoers couldn't wait until the musical they were attending ended - so they watched the game on their phones in the front row. Several cast members of the production Titanic the Musical took to twitter to express their outrage at the two audience members.

BroadwayWorld recently announced that stage and screen star Will Chase will join Kelli O'Hara in the Broadway-bound Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Kiss Me, Kate. Roundabout welcomes back longtime friends of the theater: Tony winner Kelli O'Hara who was nominated for her role in the 2006 revival of The Pajama Game opposite Harry Connick, Jr., and Will Chase returns to Roundabout following his Tony nominated role in 2012 revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. In 2016, O'Hara and Chase also starred in a sold-out benefit concert reading of Kiss Me, Kate directed by Scott Ellis. On Tuesday, Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth hosted the the 39th annual Banff World Media Festival's Rockie Awards Gala Ceremony, which featured a star-studded line-up of award recipients. During the ceremony, Chenoweth invited the head of NBC, Robert Greenblatt, to the stage to accompany her singing 'Bring Him Home' from Les Misérables. Sharing the video on Facebook, she wrote, 'Had the absolute honor of hosting Banff World Media Festival's Rockie Awards last night! Then this happened... thank you to NBC's Bob Greenblatt for joining me on stage to perform #BringHimHome!'

Tony-Award Winner Carol Burnett stopped by The Cher Show at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago to visit her designer-of-choice, Bob Mackie. She was there to support his new show starring Stephanie J. Block at the final dress rehearsal before opening night.

Meet Josh Strobl: it might not be a name you recognize now, but don't be surprised when you see it lighting up a marquee on Broadway in the next few years. 'Merely Marvelous: The Dancing Genius of Gwen Verdon' is an upcoming documentary film about the life and career of the greatest triple-threat in Broadway history, actor/singer/dancer Gwen Verdon. 

Broadway Producer David Richenthal admitted in a settlement with the office of the New York State Attorney General to using the family's charity assets to pay for personal expenses, including travel. In total, he confessed to stealing up to $500,000. Additionally, he made a large grant using his family's foundation funds as a settlement with a former romantic partner.
