Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Louis Cato returns with his new album Reflections. In conjunction, Cato is premiering the album’s title track alongside a live in-studio performance video. Performed in its entirety by Cato, the project is merely a snippet of his enviable talents as an ultimate renaissance musician.

Current Joys have announced their new album LOVE + POP via Secretly Canadian. To mark the occasion they’ve released the title track, “LOVE + POP” and its companion music video. The single acts as a hooky and rowdy exchange, with the female vocals provided by Your Angel (aka Maddy Boyd).

Kedr Livanskiy (neé Yana Kedrina) has released her new EP, K-Notes. K-Notes feels at once nostalgic and remarkably current: Livanskiy filters the UK revivalism through her own unique lens, shaped by her upbringing in the underground music scene and her personal love of early electronic and alternative music. 

After the break-up of The bEAT in 1983 Dave Wakeling and Ranking Roger decided to continue working together in a new venture. They joined up with keyboardist Mickey Billingham (Dexys Midnight Runners), bassist Horace Panther (The Specials)  and drummer Stoker (Dexys Midnight Runners) to form General Public.

Produced and mixed by Tom Rees of fellow Cardiff band Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, the new album features the two singles alongside new tracks including dizzying psych-rock romp “Come Of Age”, breezy ballad “You Play Me” (produced by Andrew Bishop) and climactic closer “Epilogue 6” (produced by Harry Franklin-Williams and CVC’s Elliot Bradfield).

Andy Grammer will be touring military bases with Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) as part of their summer concert series, Heat Wave. Several of Grammer’s songs have been charted on Billboard’s charts, and the music video for his song “Keep Your Head Up” won an MTV award for Most Innovative Video.

He also releases “Shake,” his second single from the album. Yoke Lore’s first full length album, Toward A Never Ending New Beginning is set to solidify Galvin as an indie pioneer, transcending beyond the genre with his unparalleled talent for captivating listeners with his distinct artistic vision and introspective lyricism.

Both formats of the album have been newly remastered by Brent Lambert at Carrboro, NC’s The Kitchen, and include 21 bonus tracks, including rare B-sides and 12 previously unreleased demos. Rounding out the packages are new liner notes by the Raleigh-based journalist and author David Menconi, featuring new interviews with the band.

Multi-Platinum artist Joe Nichols and the Quartz Hill Records team have landed “Brokenhearted,” the singer’s second radio single off of his critically acclaimed Good Day For Living album, among the most-added songs at country radio this week. “Brokenhearted,” penned by Rhett Akins, Marv Green, and John Thomas Harding.

The multi-layered production on Weatherman was handled by Kid Culture in collaboration with Eddie himself, and mixed by the legendary Mike Dean (Beyoncé, Travis Scott, The Weeknd). Elisapie surprises us with “Isumagijunnaitaungituq (The Unforgiven).” On this National Indigenous People’s Day, Elisapie will receive an honorary degree from Concordia University for her Inuktitut artistry and activism. She also produced and participated in the TV special Le grand solstice, which will be broadcast tonight.

This October, the dark duo will return for the tour's highly-anticipated second leg, dubbed 'Double Trouble Live II'. The tour will begin in Los Angeles, CA on October 4, visiting a slew of cities across the U.S. before ending back in Riverside, CA on October 29. Check out upcoming tour dates!
