The Gleeman gets ready for the festive season with wistful new single ‘I Love Christmastime’, releasing it one month before the big day. Having hit the scene with his debut EP ‘The Gunslinger’ earlier this year, The Gleeman is set to round off his 2022 with ‘I Love Christmastime’, a song sure to stir up memories of childhood Christmas glee.

Since forming six years ago, Manchester five-piece Sylvette have built a cult fan base around the country with their dynamic blend of emotive art-rock and Kafkaesque lyrics. Describing themselves as “Björk meets Black Midi, Nine Inch Nails and Black Country New Road”, the band’s name is inspired by the enchanting muse.

 A classically trained pianist, Rome native NOCUI brings a stunningly performative approach to electronic music production. An early love for improvisation permeates his work, expressed in meticulously crafted tracks that combine elements of sound design and orchestration, with intricate rhythm patterns.

He traces the origin of his passion for music back to playing the drums in front of the TV at three-years-old. Eventually, he found his dad’s guitar. He embraced inspirations as diverse as Alice Coltrane, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Elliott Smith as well as renown filmmaker David Lynch.

The Rinse France resident’s reputation for carefully curated sets has seen her work with Lisbon imprint, Naive, and play prime slots at festivals and parties, including Buttons (Berlin), PAT (Brooklyn), Savage (London), Semolina (Warsaw), qLab (Milan), The Carry Nation (Brooklyn), and Kiddy Smile’s infamous Strangé party (Paris).

The project is characterised by a slew of star-studded collaborations, most prominently on ‘Let You Do This’, a joint release with Swedish House Mafia icons Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello recording under their Buy Now alias. A vibrant, disco-infused house jam released as the first record from the album in September.

THE NOEL DIARY has been released globally on Netflix. The film was directed and co-written by Charles Shyer (The Father of the Bride) and stars Justin Hartley (This is Us) and Barrett Doss (Station 19). The film also stars Essence Atkins with Bonnie Bedelia and James Remar.

The long-awaited Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Live at the Fillmore (1997) is out now. Taken from their legendary residency at the historic San Francisco venue, the extensive box set is available now in various formats on Warner Records. The box features a bold acoustic version of “American Girl” with Petty singing along.

7 Day Weekend was born from and influenced by the sounds and compositions of 60’s and 70’s film composers. Comprised of Alan Evans (Soulive, Alan Evans Trio) and Kris Yunker (Alan Evans Trio), the duo has combined their songwriting and production esthetic to create what they describe as “electrorganic music.”

Berlin based songwriter and producer Chris James teams up with gnash for his new song “I Wanna Feel Good” via Nettwerk Music Group. Delivering an honest, upbeat indie-pop song about doing your best, “I Wanna Feel Good” was written alongside gnash during a recent visit to Los Angeles. The track was born after only a couple hours from a conversation.

The LP box set has 40 tracks never released on vinyl and over 30 previously unreleased tracks. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots: 20th Anniversary Edition will be available, via Warner Records, on all streaming services and as a 6 CD box set (featuring 100 tracks) on November 25 to mark the 20th anniversary year.

Rising singer-songwriter Eli Smart has released his new EP, Aloha Soul. Hailing from the Hawaiian island of Kauai, he was raised by a family of musicians and grew up on a diet of soul legends such as Gladys Knight, Jimi Hendrix, Prince and The Beatles. Smart moved to Liverpool in his late teens and has since made The UK his second home.

In the midst of the Global Pandemic, she originally recorded this six-song set live in a Los Angeles backyard accompanied by bandmates and collaborators Aaron Liao (bass, backing vocals), Jay Tibbits (drums, synth bass). The tracklisting notably consists of favorites from her breakthrough Kathleen I EP and the follow-up Kathleen II EP.
