During the week of Aug. 5, 2019, ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” ranked as the No. 1 late-night talk show among Adults 18-49 (413,000), topping NBC's “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” by 2% (403,000) and tying CBS' “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (413,000) despite “Kimmel” airing a repeat telecast on Friday.

Salamander has released their debut album, 1993, originally recorded in 1993, through Bodan Kuma Records. Unmastered, lo-fi versions of songs from the album have been shared for years, so the band felt it was the right time to shine up these classic gems and release them commercially for the first time. One song in particular included on this album is 'Cherry Llama,' which received airplay on KROQ 'Locals Only' and Rodney Bingenheimer's show 'Little Steven's Underground Garage' on Sirius XM channel 23.

The Magpie Salute's 3-song EP In Here will be available on September 6 on digital formats worldwide, as well as on 140g black 10” vinyl (in the US only). This EP precedes the full-length album High Water II out later this year, a follow up to the band's debut album High Water I.

Lost American will return home for a special one-off show during this year's Americana Fest. Lost American is the name that native Nashville singer-songwriter Chris E. Kelley currently performs under with his band in Barcelona, Spain.The outfit includes keyboardist Shorn Keld (Orto Grut) and drummer Simon Mille (Big Summer, King of Prussia). Hadestown announced today on ABC's “Good Morning America” that the show will launch a National Tour beginning in the Fall of 2020. Festival of Cinema NYC is proud to announce the winners of its 3nd annual event that took place from August 2-11 at Regal Cinema's UA Midway in Forest Hills, Queens Public Library at Forest Hills and Queens Museum in nearby Flushing Meadows Corona Park. From a pool of nearly 450 film submissions, the festival presented 125 remarkable films from 25 countries. Winners for each competitive category were chosen by the festival's specially selected jury, and received a unique statuette at the Awards Gala on Sunday, Aug. 11 during a dinner ceremony that took place at Queens Brewery in Ridgewood, Queens. Prizes for selected categories include full software from Final Draft, Jungle Software and Showbiz Media Budget & Scheduling Software. French “rock farmers” The Inspector Cluzo have announced that they will be heading back to the US this fall for an extensive tour with '68 and The Messenger Birds. The fall tour follows a successful trip to the US where TIC opened for Clutch and Eels.
