IMDb TV, a free streaming service offering thousands of premium movies and TV shows for everyday TV viewing, today announced that Corner Gas Animated will debut on IMDb TV as an IMDb Original series. Based on Canada's most popular comedy brand of all-time, the award-winning Corner Gas Animated series brings the beloved characters of Corner Gas to life in a new, reimagined way. Beginning October 15, 24 episodes of Corner Gas AnimatedSeason 1 and 2 will be available for the first time in the U.S. on the IMDb TV app on Fire TV, the Prime Video app, IMDb.com and the IMDb mobile apps.

The senior executives tapped to lead original kids and family content for HBO Max were announced today by Jennifer O'Connell, Executive Vice President, Original Non-Fiction and Kids, HBO Max. TBS has ordered the action drama Obliterated straight to series. From the creators of Cobra Kai, and produced by Sony Pictures Television, the series will be executive produced and written by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald. Dina Hillier from the trio's Counterbalance Entertainment will also serve as a co-executive producer.

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt is the #1 most-watched evening newscast in September and continues to widen its demo lead over ABC, according to Nielsen Media Research. Nightly News wins its fifth straight September in the key demo and posts its biggest A25-54 demo advantage over ABC in eleven months and its best A18-49 demo lead over them in seven months. Nightly News also wins the week of Sept. 23 with its best weekly A25-54 demo streak in 40 weeks.

NBC News' TODAY was the number-one morning show for the month of September, topping ABC's “Good Morning America” in the key A25-54 demo. TODAY has now won the key demo for 49 straight months (194 out of the 196 weeks). Additionally, TODAY posted the largest total viewer gains of the morning shows month over month. TODAY also won in the demo for the week of September 23, tripling its lead over GMA versus the prior week.

Game Show Network has greenlit GET A CLUE, its new word-guessing game show hosted by actor Rob Belushi (“How I Met Your Mother”). The new half-hour series will premiere in early 2020 and will air Monday through Friday.
