Today, GRAMMY nominated, multi-platinum artist Post Malone revealed the Runaway Tour, his latest North American outing kicking off later this year. Produced by Live Nation, the run will start September 14 in Tacoma, WA and visit cities across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping November 20 at The Forum in Los Angeles. Swae Lee and Tyla Yaweh will appear as special guests on all of  the Runaway Tour dates. ITV's Head of Drama, Polly Hill, today announced commission of contemporary thriller, Because the Night, from Luther creator and acclaimed screenwriter Neil Cross, to be produced by Euston Films.

Philadelphia-based punk band, The Menzingers will release their sixth studio record Hello Exile on October 4 via Epitaph.

The 47-year old step-father of a young country artist had been diagnosed with stage IV cancer and told there was nothing more that could be done. Music Health Alliance helped get him accepted into an out-of-state clinical trial, fill out and submit disability paperwork and find free housing near the hospital. A 45-year old single mom working in concert promotion lost group health coverage and a few days later her daughter broke her leg. Music Health Alliance advocated on her behalf, helping her to apply for coverage through the ACA marketplace, proof of eligibility and negotiated with the insurance company to back date her coverage and cover the expenses, saving the family over $2,000 in out-of-pocket medical expenses. A 61-year old drummer with over 30 years of professional experience suffered a blood borne infection in his eye. Without insurance, he was faced with over $45,000 in medical bills and was told that he would not be able to get diagnostic work done to save his retina without advance payment. Music Health Alliance facilitated a financial aid application with the hospital and was able to get the entire bill for his emergency room visit, surgery and hospital stay written off. A grant from the Ben Eyestone Fund gave him access to an ophthalmologist and a glaucoma specialist where he continues to receive treatment. He is back on the road now with a multi-platinum recording artist.

 BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) today announced that David Levin, Vice President of Digital Licensing, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Licensing, effective immediately. In his newly expanded role, Levin is responsible for all of BMI's domestic licensing and revenue generation, encompassing radio, television, digital media, cable, satellite and general licensing.  Levin, who will oversee teams in New York and Nashville, reports directly to Mike Steinberg, EVP, Creative and Licensing, and is based in New York.
