SHOWTIME has released the official trailer for its new dark comedy series ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, premiering on Sunday, August 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Kirsten Dunst (Fargo), the 10-episode series is a story about the cult of free enterprise and one woman's relentless pursuit of the American Dream.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT will air live following both nights of the second Democratic debate, Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 (11:35 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. This will mark the 22nd and 23rd time THE LATE SHOW has broadcast live. The most recent live broadcasts aired following the first Democratic candidate debate last month on June 26 and June 27. Guests joining Colbert for the live broadcast from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York will be announced at a later date.

'When Hope Calls,' Crown Media Family Networks' first-ever streaming series, will premiere Friday, August 30th, 2019 on Hallmark Movies Now, the network's digital streaming service. The first two episodes will be available Friday, August 30 with new episodes premiering every Friday through October 25.

'Live Rescue,' A&E's live original documentary series, is moving to Thursday nights, with new episodes premiering on July 18 from 9-11pm ET/PT.

Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) stars as world-renowned fictional French detective Jules Maigret, who has been featured in 75 books written by Georges Simenon. The mystery is unveiled on Ovation starting Saturday, August 31 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT.

Cartoon Network Studios grows its global comedy slate with the greenlight of its next original, The Fungies!, Stephen Neary's prehistoric comedy that will explore Fungietown through the wondrous and whimsical quests of Seth, one of the town's many young mushroom inhabitants. MTV and Sean 'Diddy' Combs, the entertainment titan responsible for the careers of some of the world's biggest artists, are reuniting to discover the next breakout superstars in MTV's 'Making the Band.' The reality competition TV pioneer is bringing the iconic series back to MTV by popular demand. Earlier this week, Combs set off a social media firestorm by suggesting the idea of the show's return and the demand was too loud to resist. 'Making the Band' is set to bow on MTV in 2020.

A GoFundMe page has been started for "Mary Tyler Moore" star Valerie Harper, who has been fighting lung cancer that began in 2009 and became brain cancer in 2013, according to ShowBiz411. Harper's husband, Tony Cacciotti, started the page because the cost of home healthcare and prescriptions has exceeded anything insurance and savings can handle.

Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that, after an extensive search, Baz Luhrmann has cast Austin Butler as Elvis Aaron Presley in the director's upcoming film about the seminal legend. The announcement was made today by Toby Emmerich, Chairman, Warner Bros. Pictures Group.

GLSEN, the leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ youth, is pleased to announce that it will honor Amazon Studios with the Visionary Award at the 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards – Los Angeles.  Amazon Studios Chief Jennifer Salke will accept the award on behalf of the organization.  As previously announced, Apple CEO Tim Cook will receive the Champion Award.
