Gino Emnes is back in heels this summer. As announced earlier today, Emnes will lead the cast of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, this years summer production in Amstetten/Austria. Emnes is no stranger to this role, he has played the transsexual Dr. Frank'n Furter before. After his successful run as Lola in the german production of KINKY BOOTS, Emnes is an expert with heels. Ars Electronica Initiates European ARTificial Intelligence Lab

Together with twelve renowned art and cultural institutions, Ars Electronica is launching the European ARTifical intelligence Lab. The Europe-wide initiative, set to run for three years, is co-financed by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and offers artists the opportunity to complete a residency at the Muntref Centro de Arte y Ciencia (Museum of the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero, Art and Science Center) as well as at the Laboratorio de Neurociencia de la Universidad Torquato Ditella in Buenos Aires and the Ars Electronica Futurelab in Linz. A global competition, running until February 17, will be used to select who will enjoy this opportunity. The competition is aimed at artists who wish to develop new artistic approaches at the interface of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. The results of the residency will then be presented at the Ars Electronica Festival and at the Muntref Centro de Arte y Ciencia in Buenos Aires.

A brand new show about the famous circus family dynasty is going to celebrate it's opening night in Switzerland. A stelar cast is going to present the untold story about 200 years of the circus showbusiness. Part of the cast is austrian performer Judith Jandl, former participant of THE VOICE OF GERMANY and well known musical performer. Jandl will be Antonia Staufer in this new production. Staufer joined the circus family against her fathers will and was the first woman to use the term showbusiness in 1803. Before the 'voice to remember' is leaving austria for rehearsals in switzerland, we've got the chance to get together and talk about the upcoming project.

The Landestheater Linz is getting ready for the big opening night of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, the multi nominated Musical from Ira and George Gershwin. It will be the first german production. While rehearsals are under its way, we got the chance for a chit chat with the leading man Jerry Mulligan played by GERNOT ROMIC. ROMIC is working with Director/Choreographer NICK WINSTON and the rest of the cast, to create some theatre magic at the unique Landestheater Linz, a couple of years ago a more or less an insider tipp, now a renowned house for outstanding productions.
