On December 4th, 1956, history has been written in Sam Phillips Sun Records Studio. The likes of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis bumped into each other jammed together, and recorded something that happens only once in a lifetime. The star-studded musicians kicked their careers off in Sam Phillips studio. The man who found them and made them into what we know now, Legends in the Rock'n'Roll universe.

Andy Lee Lang, Toni Matosic, Reinwald Kranner and Werner Auer Viennas Million Dollar Quartet

It looks like that no one could write a better plot for a jukebox musical like life did back in 1956. Director, Dr. Peter Hofbauer, has been interested in bringing the show to Vienna for quite some time. The Metropol is proudly hosting the very first German production of the MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. A simple concept, half musical half revue, with a very simple book works best when the lead characters are doing what they are supposed to do, making music. Andy Lee Lang ( Jerry Lee Lewis), Reinwald Kranner (Elvis Presley), Werner Auer (Johnny Cash/ Director), and Toni Matosic (Carl Perkins) filled the Metropol with loads of Rock'n'Roll energy, associated by the marvelous Ronny Kuste as Sam Phillips, Anna Burger (Elvis Girlfriend), Manfred Chromy (Bass) and Christoph Sztrakati/ Alex Schuster (drums).

A Must See for every fan of good old 50's Rock. A good Rockin' night out in Vienna.
