On Your Feet at Aurora Theatre extends On Your Feet performance schedule through April 19 due to audience demand

In response to a wildly successful crowd, Aurora Theatre is pleased to announce that it will extend the run of its southeast premiere production of On Your Feet! with additional performances added to the multi-week engagement!From humble beginnings in Havana to international superstardom, Gloria and Emilio Estefan changed the music industry forever. Audiences will experience the inspiring true story of two people whose belief in their art and determination created a new crossover genre of music. This musical hit is a dance party that features all of the well-known, favorite songs including Rhythm is Gonna Get You, 1-2-3, Conga, Turn the Beat Around and many more!We knew audiences would love On Your Feet! but this response has been nothing short of remarkable, said Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director Anthony Rodriguez. To be 80 percent sold on opening night is not only a testament to the reputation of Aurora Theatre, but to the universal love for Gloria and Emilios music and their powerful journey to the American dream. In 2020, it is also about representation. We all want to see our stories on the American stage. The more we lean into the diversity of Metro-Atlanta and Gwinnett, the more we send the message that all people are welcome at Aurora.
