BWW is always seeking talented theater enthusiasts to head up feature coverage our over 130 regional areas. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design features of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.

All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.

Joseph Harrison

Joseph Harrison has been involved with the theatre in some form or fashion all his life. He holds a Journalism degree from the University of Georgia, but his true love is the theatre which he has been involved in as a spectator as well as an actor for the last 30+ years. He has performed in a variety of musicals over the years including FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, PIPPIN, CITY OF ANGELS, 1776, LITTLE WOMEN, WORKING, GODSPELL (Jesus) and JOSEPH..DREAMCOAT (Joseph) just to name a few. Joseph joined the Broadway World family in 2009 as the very first local editor for BWW Atlanta. He served as Senior BWW Editor for Connecticut from 2014 - 2020, Contributing Editor for Orlando from 2021 - 2025 and now resides in Decatur, GA and writes for BWW Atlanta.


Jennifer Skura Boutell
Jennifer Skura Boutell

Jennifer Skura Boutell (she/they) is a mom, a queer American artist, theatremaker, and writer whose work has been presented in the USA and Europe and described as "vibrant, vital, and hilarious" as well as "absurd and brutal." Her plays are published by Next Stage Press. She is also the creator of FADlab, a writing residency for fictionalized auto drama, founded at Windmill Arts in Atlanta, GA. Jennifer holds a BFA in theatre, an MFA in creative writing, and a 2026 candidacy for an MA in mental health counseling. She is from Texas, lived in California, started a family in New York, and lives with them in Georgia. Russell Warne
Russell Warne

Russell Warne has reviewed live theatre since 2006 and has been a member of the American Theatre Critics Association since 2012. From 2010 to 2024, he reviewed theatre for Utah Theatre Bloggers Association, where he eventually served as president of the organization. Before becoming a critic, he was a performer, music director, technical crew member, and playwright. In his day job, he is a research psychologist. When he's not reviewing theatre, he keeps busy by raising four children.
