UNTITLED Nashville has announced its dark, two decade-old annual fundraising show, "GLOW Show: An Illuminated Art Event" at Avenue 9, 312 9th Ave. S. Nashville on Friday, October 7, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Step into darkness, guided only by self-lit or black-lit glowing art. You will encounter a myriad of delights unknown to the sunlit world, including a slide show from the Society of Nashville Photographer's projected next to glowing paintings, sculptures, and even baked goods from Nashville's emerging and established artists. You don't have to stop admiring the artwork after the show is over, you can take these pieces with you, for a small fee of course.

The luminous art will be accompanied by a variety of riveting entertainment. Host Dominique Marie Ninfo will be the conductor for this electrifying evening. DJs Ugly Lovely and Tee-Aye-See-Ohh will provide the beats while belly dancer, Rose Hips, aerial dance by FALL, and hula dancer, Kinetic Kristen, will show you the moves. Also, don't miss the Burlesque stylings of Lux-o-Matic, Bebe McQueen, and Renee Minou.

UNTITLED urges you to dress for the occasion, as the ever-popular GLOWING Costume Contest is back, judged by Chris Saint Clark, owner of Kustom Thrills Tattoo. Come painted or dressed in your own self-lit or black light sensitive costumes to compete for prizes. No costume? No worries! Air Today Gone Tomorrow Body Painting by Michelle Thornhill will provide any desired accoutrements.

A $5 donation to Nashville's only uncensored local art collective will be requested at the door. Door and costume contest prizes are brought to you by Performance Studios, Produce Place, Rhino's, Happy Japan, Jerry's Artarama, PLAZA Artist Materials, Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School Nashville, and Watkins College of Art, and Design & Film.

So get ready to get your GLOW on at the sensory delight that is the UNTITLED GLOW Show.
