Photo Flash: First Look at BLACKBERRY WINTER at Actor's Express

Actor's Express continues its 2015-2016 season with two world premiere plays, THE THRUSH & THE WOODPECKER and BLACKBERRY WINTER, both by Steve Yockey. The two plays are being performed October 31 - November 22 in rotating repertory. BroadwayWorld has a first look at BLACKBERRY WINTER below!

BLACKBERRY WINTER, the poignant story of a woman caring for her Alzheimer's diagnosed mother, stars Carolyn Cook and is a co-Production with Out of Hand Theater whose co-artistic director Ariel Fristoe will helm the production. The play, commissioned and developed by Out of Hand Theater is also National New Play Network (NNPN) Rolling World Premiere and will be produced at seven theaters around the country during the 2015-2016 season.

BLACKBERRY WINTER stars Carolyn Cook, Maia Knispel and Joe Sykes. On the creative team are director Ariel Fristoe, scenic designer Kat Conley, costume designers Isabel and Moriah Curley-Clay, lighting designer Ben Tilley, composer and sound designer Haddon Kime, animation designer Marisa Ginger Tontaveetong, animation background designer Shir Wen Sun, animation character designers Ashley Love & Ai Zhang, stage manager Maureen Downs and assistant stage manager Caitlin Cain.

THE THRUSH & THE WOODPECKER and BLACKBERRY WINTER will be performed in rotating repertory. Performance times are Tuesdays through Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, and Sundays at 2 PM and 7 PM. Please visit actors-express.com for specific performance dates and times.
