The Staten Island Children's Museum presents two musical performances this holiday weekend of RadioActive, local pre-teen rock phenoms who have been covering classic rock hits since elementary school.

On Monday, Jan. 15, the Staten Island Children's Museum will host its first 2012 Cool School Holiday, families are invited to come make music with Patrick, Staten Island's favorite children's performer. Children will not only listen to great music, but join in the fun by playing instruments, dancing and singing along.

Both musical performances are free with regular Museum admission.

RadioActive, the preteen rock band, will perform at Portia's Playhouse on Saturday, January 14, at 12 noon. On Monday, January 15, Cool School Holiday will be featured all day from 10am to 5 pm. In addition, Making Music with Patrick Raferty will take place at 1pm at Portia's Playhouse.
