Gigi Burris debuted the Gigi Burris Millinery Autumn Winter 2014 campaign featuring model and philanthropist Kyleigh Kuhn. The campaign images, lensed by Alexander Wagner and modeled by Kuhn, embody the milliners unique spirit of subversive modern elegance. Burris' training as a couture milliner is evident with her exquisitely imagined Autumn Winter 2014 collection. Imbued with a dark felinity, decayed elegance and her signature delicate approach, the hats speak of an easy-to-wear luxury and high fashion sensibility. The range features velour felt fedoras, petite brimmed newsboy caps, baseball hats, cashmere beanies, wide brimmed hats, and striking veils in a palette of antique white, black, and cardinal red. The fine finishing of each piece harks back to the art form of a bygone era, given a thoroughly modern update. Hand-finished detail such as hand-pressed leather butterflies, gold foiling, Swarovski crystals, cashmere and couture feather-work complete the range with contemporary richness. The full range of Burris' Autumn Winter 2014 collection is now available to shop online at www.GIGIBURRIS.com as well as at select leading retailers including Colette Paris, Gago FR, Henri Bendel NYC, Kirna Zabete, Kiosk Palm Beach, Sid Saudi Arabia, and The Webster in Miami.

Gigi Burris Millinery was founded in 2009, on a passionate love of both headwear and unique luxury. Burris takes pride in preserving the delicate craft with her feminine yet dark aesthetic, embracing a sense of irreverence and natural elegance. The young designer's ongoing interest in millinery was heightened after studying at Parsons Paris and frequent visits to the old world mercerie shops there. Upon returning she studied under New York based couture milliner Leah Chalfen, at Parsons School of Design and then apprenticed with Chalfen in her personal studio. After graduating with A BFA from Parsons in May 2009, where Burris was nominated for the Designer of the Year award, her one of a kind hats and made to order ready to wear began to receive attention from the industry. Burris, at only 26 years of age, has become increasingly well known for her intricate feather and couture handwork with leather and exotics. She currently resides in the Lower East Side of New York City.

Burris has received ongoing support from the industry over the course of the brand's first six years. Burris counts major celebrities such as Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Rita Ora, Reese Witherspoon, Miranda Kerr, and Lady Gaga as fans and regularly works with stylists Karl Templer, Patti Wilson, and Kate Lanphear. Burris has, since the inception of her label, received numerous accolades from the industry. In 2009, the young milliners first year, she was featured in Vogue Italia's "Young Talents" issue. Burris soon after was named one of the world's most promising accessory designers to watch worldwide by Harpers Bazaar. Forbes most recently listed Burris alongside industry heavyweights such as Alexander Wang on the publications 30 Under 30 List in January of 2013. In July 2014 Gigi Burris was nominated as one of the ten finalists for the CFDA VOGUE FASHION FUND 2014. Burris has collaborated with Haus Alkire, V-Files, Serge Normant & John Frieda Salon, Lizzie Fortunato, Basta Surf, and Ohne Titel. Gigi Burris Millinery is carried globally by Colette Paris, Gago FR, Henri Bendel NYC, Kirna Zabete NYC, Kiosk Palm Beach, Sid Saudi Arabia, and Webster Miami in addition to other prominent worldwide boutiques.
