From London to NYC: See These Olivier Award-Winners on Broadway in 2026
The Olivier Awards 2026 will take place on Sunday, April 12.
Broadway and the West End may be separated by an ocean, but when it comes to theatre, the two iconic districts are more connected than ever. Over the years, a remarkable number of productions have made successful transatlantic journeys—Broadway hits lighting up London's West End stages, and acclaimed West End shows finding new life on Broadway.
This weekend, stars of London theatre will gather at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the Olivier Awards (or the British equivalent of the Tony Awards) and some of the winners will likely reprise their roles on Broadway soon. How do we know? It happens every year! Beyond already-running hits like Six, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, and Operation Mincemeat, the 2025/26 Broadway season is already full of Olivier Award-winning (and nominated) productions, including...

Following a run at the Royal Court Theatre in 2024, Mark Rosenblatt's play opened in the West End at the Harold Pinter Theatre. It ran for 14 weeks, through August 2025, and earned five Olivier Award nominations, including wins for Best New Play, Best Actor (John Lithgow), and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Elliot Levey). Both reprise their roles on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre.
Titanique

The production was nominated for three Olivier Awards, and won for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play, and Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical (Layton Williams). Williams reprises his role of 'Iceberg' on Broadway at the St. James Theatre.
The Fear of 13

Oedipus
Earlier this season, Robert's Icke's four-time Olivier-nominated take on Oedipus opened on Broadway at Studio 54. The 2024 West End production won for Best Revival and Best Actress (Lesley Manville), who reprised the role of 'Jocasta' on Broadway.
Punch
James Graham's new play had the unique distinction of running on Broadway and in the West End simultaneously in late 2025. The London production has been nominated for four 2026 Olivier Awards, including Best New Play.
Still to come: Much Ado About Nothing
Next season, Broadway will welcome Jamie Lloyd's production of Much Ado About Nothing, which opened at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in early 2025. The two-time nominated play will be led by Tom Hiddleston (2026 Olivier Award nominee) and Hayley Atwell.
