Blake Whyte (of Broadway's Wicked and currently Mamma Mia!) is appearing live at the Living Room on Sunday, August, 7 at 8:00 P.M. As a singer and songwriter, Blake has performed his original music at Lincoln Center's Rose Studio and at Rockwood Music Hall.

Inspiring, healing, soulful, and sexy are just a few adjectives that describe Blake Whyte's real and heartfelt sound. Blake will be accompanied by his five-piece band, comprised of Paul Wyatt, Alex Wyatt, Amanda Gookin, Curtis Stewart and Eric Day. Check out and listen to more at www.blakewhyte.com.

"Music has always had a way of being there for me. Music heals me, it inspires me, and I believe my music can do that for the world. My music can help people look at their lives and say to themselves, ‘You know what? I'm gonna take that leap, I'm gonna really invest in what I love, what makes me tick.' When you are doing what you love, everything else falls into place. Creation leads to freedom! I want everyone in this world to find that glove that fits, you know what I'm saying....that thing you know is deep down inside of you that fills your soul with truth, love, and light. That is music for me. It's my glove and it fits. It's my favorite way to communicate." - Blake Whyte

The Living Room is located at 154 Ludlow Street, New York, NY. There is a one-drink minimum, but no cover.
